How to Clean a Crystal Chandelier with Brilliante Crystal Cleaner
Crystal chandeliers are among the most beautiful and intricate fixtures in any home or commercial space. Keeping them sparkling does not have to be difficult. Brilliante Crystal Cleaner is a no-wipe, drip-dry chandelier-cleaning spray. Apply it generously and allow the solution to wash away dust as it drips dry—no wiping, scrubbing, or dismantling required.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have the following ready before cleaning your crystal chandelier:
- Brilliante Crystal Cleaner spray bottle
- Drop cloth, towels, or absorbent floor covering
- Step stool or ladder if needed to reach the fixture
Step 1 — Turn Off the Fixture
Turn off the chandelier at the wall switch and circuit breaker, then allow the bulbs to cool completely. Never spray cleaner into light sockets, wiring, electrical connections, switches, or other open electrical components.
Step 2 — Protect the Floor
Place a drop cloth, towels, or absorbent floor covering underneath the fixture to catch excess solution that drips during the drying process. Protect any furniture nearby as well.
Step 3 — Spray the Chandelier
Hold the Brilliante Crystal Cleaner sprayer 3 to 6 inches from the fixture. Starting at the top and working downward, apply the cleaner generously so the solution can wash away dust as it drips. Avoid light sockets, wiring, electrical connections, switches, and other open electrical components.
Step 4 — Allow to Drip Dry
Allow the fixture to air-dry for about 24 hours. Do not wipe the crystals during the drying process. Keep the power off until the fixture, sockets, and surrounding electrical components are completely dry.
Important Safety Note
Keep the fixture completely stationary while you move around it. Never spin your chandelier during or after cleaning as this may cause the chandelier or its crystals to fall and cause damage or injury.

- For best results clean your chandelier every 2 to 3 months
